H. Roberts of Boise, arrived on yesterday's westbound train from Sutton, Iowa. Mr. Roberts says that a large and interesting public meeting was held at that place and the following representatives were sent here to make investigation: John Volz, J. J. Ochsner and John Burback, all of Sutton, and F. D. Childs of Bertrand, Neb. Scott Steward came in at noon today and reports that he had found no traces of the fellows who stole his saddle, and in addition to the saddle they took provisions, bedding, his shoes and tobacco and another saddle from Reyla (Relyea), near New Plymouth. Charles Patton of Falk's Store, is in town. Mrs. E. Jauman of Boise, arrived on yesterday westbound train and will visit with Mrs. Lessup for several weeks.
