Payette News
 
Payette, July 28 -- William Wall came in this morning and reports that he and 
Jim Patton and others have just shipped from Weiser 14 cars of horses to the 
Fred Terry Horse & Mule commission company of St. Joseph, Mo., and that they 
have orders for 500 more to be delivered August 15.
 
The baseball mixed nine didn't go to Nampa today.  They were not able to agree 
with the terms offered.
 
Jessip Sewell of Nyssa was in town this afternoon.
 
N. O. Hagen and family of Aneta, N. D. and George Thoman of Brainard, Minn., 
are late arrivals.
 
Mrs. Arthur Ruse is visiting at Huntington.
 
W. H. Platt and family returned from Mann creek.
 
Mr. Peter Jones of Murphysboro, Ill., brother of the night operator here, came 
in on No. 3 today.
