The Democratic primaries were held today. The delegates elected were J. S. Napton, H. B. Orcutt, W. E. Young, C. W. Geisler, Houston Napton, A. K. Wright, George Thirley, South precinct, J. J. Toole, J. C. Geisler, J. L. Johnson, A. J. Mead, C. L. Rand, William Fitzgerald, J. C. Griffith, North precinct. Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Streeter of Denver who have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. John S. Thurston a few days left last night for Seattle and other coast points. Henry Piper of Hartwell, Neb. and quite a delegation from old Missouri are here looking for homes. Mrs. John Short, mother of Ed and William Short, is expected to arrive this evening from Chicago. Dr. S. Lamme has returned from a prospecting trip. Rev. O. I. Bennett will occupy the pulpit at the Christian church Sunday morning and evening. Mr. Bennett is a candidate for probate judge on the Democratic ticket. Miss Ida Wilson of Boise, who will teach one of the schools, came down this morning and returned on No. 6.
