Welch came in today from Blackfoot, where he has a large place claim, which he operates every year. Mr. Welch reports this year as very good and the best in the 16 years that he has worked. Over $50,000 has been taken out of this claim. His facilities for working it next season will be greatly enlarged. J. D. McCarty and family are here from Oklahoma looking for a home. Frank Cram, Jr., and family went to Weiser to spend Thanksgiving with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Uttly of Mann's creek are spending Thanksgiving with their daughter, Mrs. Tim Driscoll. George Hutchinson, the proprietor of the Arcade saloon, is still very low. Another small building is being built on Boise street, which will be occupied by D. K. Myer's with a candy and cigar store.
