The cement blocks for Payette’s new creamery building on west main street have all been laid and the roof is now being put on. The building will be the finest creamery building in the state without doubt. Constructed of cement blocks with cement floor and a hip roof, shingled, it will be about as substantial in appearance as could be asked. The dimensions of the building are 30x60 feet. Ed Meuller, who will install the machinery and operate the creamery, expects to have the plant ready for operation early in July. By the terms of the contract with Payette Creamery company, Mr. Meuller has a lease on the building for three years, with the privilege of five, at a monthly rental of $15. He also has the privilege of buying the plant at the end of the first three years for $3000. It is Mr. Mueller’s intention to install thoroughly modern machinery and operate the new creamery to the best possible advantage.
