School opened on Tuesday.
 
It is reported that Mr. James Blayden may sell out.
 
The "school marms" returned from Weiser and Caldwell last Friday.
 
Mr. and Mrs. Winslow returned to their home in Kansas this week.
 
V. J. Winslow, of Boise, was a visitor at the Wilson home last week.
 
Mrs. Cool is down from Council, and is visiting her father, S. F. Taylor.
 
Miss Maud Stegal left on Monday to teach the same school she had last year.
 
Miss Lena Wilson leaves this week to teach a school in the mountains above 
Council.
 
Mrs. Albert, mother of Mrs. Tuttle, George, Peter and M.F. Albert returned 
from the east on Monday.
 
The business meeting of the C. E. Society will be held Saturday evening of 
this week at the H. G. Wilson home.
 
Mr. and Mrs. Charley Paine, the newly-married couple, are now living at their 
home, south of Mr. Russel's place.
 
Flavia Barney, Grace Warner, Nellie Zellar, Florence Patheal and Bertha Wilson 
will attend the grammar and high school at Payette this winter.
 
Clyde Harry, Dave Slone, Phil Smith, and A. W. Newall returned from High 
valley this week.  The party had planned a longer trip but Mr. Newall was 
unable to travel further owing to illness.
 
Two surprise parties were given this week.  One surprise was on Miss Nellie 
Zellar, the occasion being that of her birthday.  The other gathering was one 
of girls taking Miss Grace Warner unawares.  The usual good times enjoyed by 
our young people was very evident at both places.
