Rev. T. S. Dulin, pastor of the Baptist church in Payette, is holding meetings in continuance of those started by Rev. Bowler. Arthur Wilcox, Clyde Harry and Orlo Wilcox started for the mountains, where they will do some carpenter work for a party (?). Mr. Jordan, on the La Croix place, will soon leave us. A literary society with 21 members has been started in No. 1 school house. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Anderson are contemplating a trip through the eastern states. T. R. Hubbard is very much in business selling his fall trees. Our farmers are anxious to know what Mr. Ringer has been doing about some of the girls who have been packing fruit for Mr. Skaggs earn $2 per day.
