Ed Williams is now at home free to take part in the social whirl. Messrs. Bowers, McBride, Young and Eiffe went to Boise to attend the fruit growers' meeting. James Hubbard was quite a sick boy this week. Mr. Hambleton is anticipating the rendering of a play in the near future. Mr. T. F. Harry now has Independent telephone connection with the surrounding country. There was a large Endeavor meeting Sunday night, many enjoying the ride in sleighs instead of in buggies. Miss Ewing received recently an invitation to attend the annual reunion of her class in Cincinnati. It was too short notice to attend. Misses Ema and Flavia Barney, Verna Murphy and Martin Barney attended the opera, Pinafore at New Plymouth. Miss Murphy and Miss Barney were the guests of Miss Hinchliff until Sunday afternoon, when Martin brought all the girls home. Mr. Newton, with Miss Florence Lewis and Miss Beth Bushnell, drove to Plymouth last Friday evening to hear Pinafore.
