Arthur Wilson has been caring for a dislocated arm this week. Messrs. Applegate and Ewing left for Boise this week to attend court. One more week of school after this one unless further notice is given. Edith Campbell, of New Plymouth has been visiting the past several days with the family of Frank Roberts. Miss Haines was given quite a hearty reception at Endeavor meeting last Sunday. All were glad of her safe return. We are no sooner into spraying for scale-thae Inspector Field serves notice to spray for codling moth. Truly the way of the orchardist is hard. Slowly but surely a center is being formed at our place. A Mr. Nichols, of Falks Store, has erected a blacksmith shop opposite the school-house. Several of our young people enjoyed the privilege of hearing Dr. McKinley of New Plymouth. Many others were denied the pleasure on account of the great rush of spring work for men and teams. A good business meeting was held last Saturday evening by the Christian Endeavor society. The treasurer's report is encouraging, over thirty-seven dollars on hand. Let each one look forward to the convention in April.
