J. D. Bird and Mr. Harper were calling in the interest of life insurance last Tuesday. Miss Lena Wilson will open a subscription school at the Central school next Monday. Mrs. Arthur Wilcox came down from Dale, Idaho, Friday, to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Harry. The next meeting of the Ladies' Aid Society will be held at the Central School, Wednesday, April 5, at 2:30 o'clock. Messrs. Eggleston and Tussing of Nebraska, have purchased the R. D. Stegner and Barber places, respectively. Sunday evening, April 2, will be the regular monthly roll call and consecration meeting of the Christian Endeavor Society. The eight invalids at the Barnard residence are improving nicely and are considered out of danger from the measles. Miss Gertie Blayden has had her hands full with her mother in very poor health and her brother, Jay, down with scarlet fever. Miss Verna Murphy bade many of her friends good-bye last Sunday evening at the C. E. meeting. Everyone regrets her departure this week for Boise and Market Lake, as she has won for herself a host of friends. Miss Ema Barney entertained in honor of Miss Hattie Hinchliff last Saturday evening at the close of the school term. Miss Ema, Flavia and Martin Barney accompanied Miss Hinchliff to New Plymouth on Sunday afternoon.
