MASON RESIGNS Prof. Howard Mason, who has been teaching mathematics in the Fruitland High School, resigned his position and left here last Friday. Mr. Mason is an electrical engineer and goes to San Antonio, Texas, as instructor in the Government Aviation School. Mr. Mason's home is in New Plymouth and both communities join in congratulating him on this great opportunity for service. He was most highly esteemed by his pupils, who regret to see him go. Thursday evening the High School teachers and pupils gave him a farewell party at the High School Auditorium, and he was the recipient of several handsome gifts, as well as the hearty good wishes of every one.
