RED CROSS MEETS

A Red Cross meeting of the Executive Committee of Payette, Fruitland and New 
Plymouth, and other members was held at Headquarters, Woodward Hall, Wednesday 
evening.  The meeting was addressed by Rev. Wilsie Martin, of Boise, who was 
sent out from Boise headquarters.  The object of the meeting was to arrange for 
raising $5000 which is the part assigned to Payette county the $100,000,000 
needed at once to put the Red Cross organization in shape for active service.  
The campaign committees are as follows:
New Plymouth—Campaign manager, J. H. Hannigan; Chairman publicity and rally 
committees, Rev. Knight; Captain of team captains, Henry C. Prior.  Fruitland—
Campaign manager, T. R. Neilson; Chairman publicity committee, W. A. Cloud.  
Payette—Campaign manager, Ira Tweedy; campaign speaker, Supt. Turner; Chairman 
publicity committee, Mrs. H. C. Newman.  Plans are being made for a big rally 
meeting, notice of which will be given as soon as arrangements are completed.  
Campaign for funds will begin Monday and continue throughout the week.
