Whereas, in the death of Thomas R. Hubbard, which occurred on Thursday, May 18, 1905, the Payette Valley Commercial Club has lost a useful and highly respected member, and this community as exemplary and honored citizen, therefore, be it resolved. First, That we give this public expression of the high appreciation in which our deceased fellow citizen was held by the members of this club, representing the various business interests of the community, in which he had so earnestly and successfully wrought for more than a dozen years. Second, That we point to the part that he took in the development and upbuilding of the community as a monument to his memory that will live through the succeeding generations. Third, That we as a club, composed of his associates in business, his friends and neighbors, extend to his widow and son our heartfelt sympathy in this hour of their great affliction and irrepapable loss. Fourth, That a copy of these resolutions be spread upon the minutes of this club and published in the city papers. Payette, Idaho, June 8, 1908. BURT VENABLE, M. F. ALBERT, L. V. PATCH.
