C. CURRIN LISTED MISSING War Department Telegram Brings News Sunday Pvt. Robert C. Currin of this city was reported missing in action in France in an official telegram from the War Department received by his wife, Mrs. Fern H. Currin, bookkeeper at the C. C. Anderson store Sunday. The telegram as usual gave no further details. Pvt. Currin entered the army only last April, and was sent overseas with an infantry division in late September. He received his basic training at Fort Robinson, Ark., and spent a furlough here with relatives in September just before he went overseas. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Currin of Willow Creek and he farmed in that area prior to entering the service.
