A cousin who was driving the car, in trying to pass a bus full of students, struck some loose gravel and the car turned over four times. Ernest’s grandmother was critically injured, passing away on Sunday. Earnest received several bad cuts and three fractured ribs. The other occupants of the car are recovering nicely. The new care was completely wrecked. George Vaughn and son Wilson left Sunday for Fullerton, Nebr., to be present at the funeral.
