The neighbors of “Nick” Brodersen, for miles around, are ready to testify that 
he had a loud time at his erst while quiet home last Monday night.  The fellows 
who participated in the shiveree evidently went prepared to make the occasion 
extremely interesting for the newly married couple, but a few choice selections 
of music that would have frightened a saw-horse brought “Nick” to terms, a 
truce was satisfactorily arranged, and the party returned to town and had a 
merry time at “Nick’s” expense.
