Weiser Leader Weiser, Idaho Saturday, June 26, 1886 Payette. June 3d, 1886. Leader: Hurrah for Payette! Long live the noble band of ladies who planned and carried out the festival of last night. The attendance was very large, the music very fine, the feast of ice cream, cake and strawberries, delicious, receipts of the evening, fifty- seven dollars. At last the Pence hotel has come into use. A more convenient place for a festival could not be constructed. Accompanying the above was a liberal share of cake, which the hungry Leaderites relished hugely. Many thanks to the ladies of Payette for their kind remembrance.
