They were: Sgt. Loren Arment, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Arment of New Plymouth and Sgt. Clifford Horn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Horn of Fruitland. Sgt. Horn was reported to have been a prisoner of war longer than any other local boys so far known to have been liberated.
