UNDERGOES OPERATION
 
Ivan A. Linder who underwent an operation about one month ago at the Holy 
Rosary Hospital, Ontario, at the hands of Drs. Woodward and Woodward is again 
about the streets and in excellent condition.  He says that he has gained 
eight pounds and that he is feeling fine.  This operation consisted in the 
removal of his right leg at the hip.  Four years ago M. Linder underwent an 
amputation at the middle of the thigh which gave continuous trouble to such an 
extent that the present operation became necessary.  Mr. Linder thinks that 
now he will become perfectly well.
