WILL IMPROVE HOTEL FACILITES

Mrs. H. Gilmore Lets Contract for a Three-Story Structure on Boise St. Property.

Miss Hattie Gilmore has just let the contract for an extensive addition to her 
hotel property in this city by which, when completed, she will have much 
additional facilities.  It is to consist of a three-story brick structure, with 
a frontage of 60 feet, the entire width of Mrs. Gilmore’s two lots, and a depth 
of 23 feet, which is the distance between the side walk and her present hotel 
building.  It will also have a basement and be heated by hot water.  

The contract was let to Murphy & Newton, who has charge of the construction of 
Payette’s new high school addition and West Side school building during the 
past summer. Active work is to begin just as soon as possible and steadily 
pushed to completion.  

The proposed structure is to have an office room, 18x24, with a fine plate 
glass front, and a large parlor and a suite of bedrooms on the first floor.  
There will be 20 new bed rooms in all.

With the new addition, Mrs. Gilmore will have at her disposal, altogether, 42 
rooms.
