These sales were made through A. B. Moss, president of the Moss Mercantile company, who has the reputation of being able to make a wool buyer pay to the last fraction of a cent what a wool clip ought to bring when ready for the market. those who have sold for delivery at Payette are: George V. Leighton, Al Wilson, A. L. Ayers, Ayers & Phipps, Brundage & Fisher, Henry Helmick, Thomas Harris, Emery Tindall, Mr. Claiborn, Thomas Nipper, Walker Bros, Gooding & Co, William Willburn, James Currin, Mr. Butts, Cochrane & Phipps and S. Ottoe. The prices received this season have been very satisfactory to the wool- growers, as they have been better than the best quotations at present would seem to warrant. and think of the money this single product brings in no less than $120,000 for this community alone.
