C. T. BARKER
 
C. T. Barker died Wednesday, January 5th at the home of his son, Clarence 
Barker in Washoe after a continued illness.  Mr. Barker was born in the state 
of Illinois, January 11th, 1843, being within a few days of 78 years of age.  
He is survived by several sons and other relatives in this community.  He was 
a highly respected citizen and will be missed by a large circle of relatives 
and friends.  We hope in our next issue to publish a full and complete 
obituary.  Funeral services were held from the Christian Church this 
(Thursday) afternoon at two o'clock.
