H. J. Barnett was found dead in his bed at five o’clock Tuesday evening by his 
daughter, Mrs. John Hull.  Mr. Barnett appeared to have died peacefully in his 
sleep. The funeral was held in the Congregational church on Sunday afternoon at 
2:30, and interment made at Parkview cemetery.

Note: H. J. Barnett is actually buried in Applegate-Kennedy Cemetery in New Plymouth.
