Services were conducted Monday at 2:30 p. m. at Landon's chapel, with the Rev. H. D. Robeson officiating. Interment was made in Rosedale Memorial beside Mr. Belknap, who died two years ago. Mrs. Belknap was born July 24, 1860 at Burlington, Iowa, and crossed the plains over the Old Oregon Trail by ox team in 1862. The family lived for several years on a farm in what is now East Portland, later moving to Warrenton, Oregon, where in 1881 she was married to J. F. Warren. He died in 1890. Two children were born to them, Mrs. Lenore Windle of Payette and Charles D. Warren of Chiloquin, Oregon. In 1892 she was married to Edward C. Belknap at Portland. They had two children, Frances Lowe, now deceased and Robert E. Belknap of Payette. Other survivors are 13 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Belknap had been a member of the Presbyterian church for over fifty years.
