Cyclist Dies in Collision With Auto Here

PAYETTE-William Richard Bishop, 23, Spanish Fork, Utah, died Saturday at Holy 
Rosary Hospital following a car-motorcycle accident at the intersection of 
Killebrew Drive and US 95 near the Payette River bridge.

The accident occurred about 1:09 p.m. and the victim died about two hours later 
at the hospital.

He was traveling north on US 95 on the cycle and collided broadside with a car 
driven by Katrina Shippy, 16, Payette who had pulled out from Killebrew Drive 
onto the highway. She was also taken to the hospital, treated and released.

The accident is still under investigation by the Payette County sheriff's 
department.
