Oscar Lewis Blayden 70, Dies In Payette Sunday Afternoon
 
Oscar Lewis Blayden, 70, of Payette, died in a Payette hospital Sunday 
afternoon.
 
Mr. Blayden was born March 3, 1883 at Dunlap, Iowa, and came to Payette from 
Wyoming 56 years ago.  He was a member of the IOOF lodge.
 
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alvina Blayden of Payette; his mother, Mrs. 
Blayden of Eugene, Ore.; a son R. L. Blayden, Hawthorne, Cal., a daughter, 
Mrs. Thelma Kornick of San Mateo, Calif.; three brothers, L. J. Blayden of 
Emmett, Lyle Blayden of Rockford, Mich., and Fred Blayden of Rockford, Alaska; 
four sisters, Mrs. O. H. Talbot of Grants Pass, Ore., Mrs. Olive Paine of 
Auburn, Wash., Mrs. Marvel Gorham of Eugene, Ore., and Mrs. Frances Olson of 
Seaside, Ore.
