Services Conducted For Emmett Bowen, 38, In Payette
 
Funeral services were conducted in the Shaffer Memory Chapel at 3:30 today 
(Wednesday) for Emmett S. Bowen, 38, who died Friday night in a Boise 
hospital.  Rev. Stanley Andrews officiated at the service.
 
Mr. Bowen had been a resident of Payette for the past five years.  He was born 
June 13, 1914, at Challis, Idaho.  He was a veteran of War II.
 
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leona Bowen, Payette; one son, Larry, and a 
daughter Mickey, both of Payette.  Two step-daughters, Wanda Caviness, Payette 
and Karen Caviness, Boise, and one step-son, Marvin Caviness, Ontario, also 
survive.  His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Bowen, live in Emmett.
 
Payette National Guard performed military honors and interment was in the 
Rosedale Memorial Park, Payette.
