Services To Be Held For R. E. Branscomb

Raymond Everett Branscomb, 51, Payette, Route 2, a resident here since 1946, 
died in a Boise hospital Tuesday.

Mr. Branscomb was born Sept. 30, 1906, in Marshall County, Kans.  He was a 
veteran of World War 11 and was a real estate and insurance salesman.  He came 
to Payette from Norton County, Kans. in 1946.

He was a member of the Catholic church, the American Legion and the Veterans of 
Foreign Wars.

Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Frances Branscomb of Payette, four sons, 
Warren Branscomb of Detroit, Mich., Max Branscomb, serving with the Navy in 
Seattle, and Don and Larry, both of Payette; three daughters, Mrs. Ralph Brooks 
of Clayton, Kans., Mrs. Jerry Robinette of Yerington, Nev. and Blanche 
Branscomb of Payette; his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Fay Branscomb of 
Almena, Kans.; one brother, Floyd Branscomb of Norton, Kans. and 11 
grandchildren.

Requiem Mass will be said at the Holy Family Catholic church Saturday at 10 
a.m.  The National Guard will conduct services at Rosedale.  The Rosary will be 
recited at Shaffer Memory Chapel Friday at 7:15 p.m.
