Bray FRUITLAND -- Services for Lucille Pearl Bray, 85, of Fruitland, who died Thursday at her home of natural causes, were conducted Monday at the Shaffer- Jensen Memory Chapel, Fruitland, by the Rev. Hardy L. Thompson of the First United Methodist Church. Interment followed at Park View Cemetery, New Plymouth. She was born Oct. 13, 1889, in Independence, Iowa. She grew up in Iowa and married James N. Bray Nov. 2, 1919, in Des Moines, Iowa. They moved to Nebraska where they farmed until 1931. They then moved to Seattle. In 1951, they came to Fruitland where they have since resided. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Don Courtnage, of Strawberry Point, Iowa; one sister, Lillian Cook, of Independence, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers.
