Marion Francis Cable
 
Services for Marion Francis Cable, 81, Ontario, a retired school custodian, 
who died Monday, June 20, 1983, in an Ontario hospital, were conducted today 
at the Nazarene Church in Ontario, with Rev. Calvin Nicholson officiating.  
Interment followed at Rosedale Memorial Gardens in Payette under direction of 
Chapel of the Roses, Ontario.
 
He was born May 25, 1902 at Lynn Creek, Mo., the son of James Henry and Cora 
Mae Cable.  He traveled with his family to Norman, Okla., in a covered wagon 
where he was reared and educated.  He married Gladys Lewis, Oct. 8, 1927.  
They moved to Ontario where he was custodian for School District 8C for 21 
years.
 
Survivors include his wife, Gladys of Ontario; five sons, Doyle E. of Salem; 
Leon C. of Vancouver; Clarence of Fruitland; Jimmie D. of Payette and Donald 
Z. of Tampa, Fla.; one daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Pearline) Paul of Papillion, 
Neb.; two brothers, Kenneth B. Cable of Norman, Okla.; Walter H. Cable of 
Edmunds, Wash.; one sister, Mrs. Jeff (Beulah) Rhea of Pampa, Texas; 16 
grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
