Last Rites for Mrs. T. J. Carico Held Wednesday
 
The funeral service for Mrs. Elma Pearl Carico was held in the Methodist 
church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 Rev. L. G. Fraser officiating.
 
Mrs. Carico was born in Carroll County, Virginia.  She was married in 1900 to 
Thomas J. Carico.  They had known each other from childhood and grew up 
together in the same community.
 
She united with the Methodist church at the age of eleven years.
 
The members of the immediate family mourning her departure are her husband 
Thomas, daughter Ethel and two sons, Curtis and Edgar.
 
Mrs. Carico was highly esteemed in this community, having many friends and she 
will be greatly missed from among us.
 
Every possible effort on the part of the family and medical science was made 
to save her life, but she passed on Sunday, September 13th in Seattle, 
Washington.
 
The body was accompanied to Payette by her husband and son and wife, Mr. and 
Mrs. Edgar Carico.
 
Interment was held in the Riverside cemetery.
