Carlson Eva D. Carlson, 86, Payette, a retired bookkeeper, died March 10, 1992, in an Ontario nursing home. Graveside services were 4 p.m. March 13 at Riverside Cemetery, Payette, with Rev. Craig Heverly of the Seven Rivers Cluster of Episcopal Churches, officiated, under the direction Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. She was born Jan. 20, 1906, in Fort Madison, Iowa. In 1930 she married Arnold Carlson in Salt Lake City, Utah. During her early married years she and her husband moved to various locations, as he served in the Army, and later as a CCC Director. They have made their home in Payette since 1936. Mr. Carlson preceded her in death in 1979. She was employed in the office of Manser Ford for many years. She was a member of PEO Chapter C, Payette, Iras Temple #40 Daughters of the Nile, St. James Episcopal Church, Payette, and the Payette Ladies Golf Association. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Mrs. Grace King of Cheyenne, Wyo.; a niece, Karen King of Alberquerque, N.M., and two nephews, Jack King of Denver and Lyn King of Cheyenne, Wyo. Memorials may be made to St. James Episcopal Church or Scotch Pines Golf Course Memorial Fund in care of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, P.O. Box 730, Payette 83661.
