JOHN S. CARR
PAYETTE-Services for John Seth Carr, 78, Mountain Home, who died Friday at a 
Mountain Home hospital, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shaffer-Jensen 
Memory Chapel, Payette, by the Rev. Harvey Booth, Payette First Baptist 
Church.  Interment was in Rosedale Memorial Gardens.

He was born Jan. 6, 1899, at Norborne, Mo.  He moved to Idaho in 1911, and 
lived in the Weiser Flat. He married Margaret Bullard Dec. 25, 1922, at 
Ontario.  They farmed at Weiser until 1948, when they moved to Klamath Falls, 
Ore., where he worked for the city.  In 1957, they moved to Mountain Home, and 
he was employed by Home Lumber Co.  He retired in 1967.

Surviving are his wife of Mountain Home; two sons, John J. of Mountain Home and 
Leslie R. of Bend; a daughter, Mrs. Dwain (Maxine) Tipton of Payette; six 
grandchildren and great-granddaughter.  He was preceded in death by three 
sisters and a brother.
