Word was received last week of the death of Marvin Channer in San Francisco, 
June 4th, death being due to shock of the news of his brother's death.  He had 
been in failing health the past year.  His brother Will, was killed in an 
automobile accident while enroute to San Francisco, on Friday, June 1st.  Both 
of these men are well known in this community, having lived in Payette and 
Fruitland a number of years.  Marvin at one time owned the Fruitland Garage, 
now occupied by W. F. Boal.
