Margaret Coblentz Passes In Portland

Mrs. Margaret Jene Coblentz, 81, of Portland, Ore., a former Payette resident, 
died about midnight Sunday in her home.

Mrs. Coblentz was born Sept. 14, 1874, at Portland, Ind. She moved to Portland, 
Ore., 16 years ago from here. 

She was a member of the Christian church, Order of Eastern Star, Royal 
Neighbors of America, Woman's Relief Corps and American Legion auxillary.

Surviving are two sons, Lee W. and Edward C. Coblentz, both of Payette; three 
daughters, Miss Beatrice Coblentz of Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Mary Davis of Baker, 
Ore., and Mrs. Ellen Wilson of Nampa, and nine grandchildren and four great-
grandchildren.

Services were conducted at Shaffer Memory chapel Thursday at 10 a.m. The Rev. 
Charles Easley officiated and interment was at Riverside.
