KATIE WATTS CONNELL
 
PAYETTE - Katie Watts Connell, 87, passed away March 31, 1979 at Ballard 
Convalescent Center in Seattle.  Services were held April 4, at Langley, Wash. 
on Whidby Island.  She came to Payette in 1905 with her parents and graduated 
from Payette High School in 1911.  In the early 1930's she owned and operated 
the Beauty School in Payette.
 
Surviving is a son, Ralph Blayden of Seattle, two grandchildren and one great-
grandson and several nieces and nephews.
