Marie Iona Connerley
 
NAMPA - Services for Marie Iona Connerley, 82, Nampa, who died Monday, Sept. 
15, 1986, in a Nampa nursing home, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at 
Ontario's Lienkaemper Chapel with Rev. Bernard Dawson and Rev. Thomas McCall 
officiating.  Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Payette.
 
She was born May 11, 1904, in Novinger, Mo., daughter of W. Clarence and Sarah 
M. Otta McClanahan.  She was raised in Missouri and Colorado.  She married 
Harley R. Connerley, in Wray,  Colo., Jan. 12, 1926.  They moved to the Twin 
Falls area of Idaho in 1934 and in 1946 to Fruitland.  In 1949 they moved to 
Payette, residing there until the death of her husband on Dec. 16, 1978, at 
which time she moved to Nampa.  She attended the Bible Missionary Churches in 
Nampa and Ontario.  She enjoyed reading, playing the piano, and her pet cat.
 
Survivors include two daughters, Nola Foster, Caldwell; and Edna Mae Knapp, 
Kellogg, Idaho; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.  She was 
preceded in death by a brother and a great-grandson.
