Private Services Held for Cooper
 
Private funeral services were held Tuesday for John Simon Cooper, 88.  He died 
Saturday.  Mr. Cooper was born in Valley Falls, Kansas, and had moved to 
Payette in 1952.  He was a retired miner.
 
Survivors include two sons, Leo A. Cooper of Yakima, Wash., and Theodore 
Cooper, Ocean City, Wn.
 
Services were held Tuesday morning at Riverside cemetery with Rev. Bert Iddins 
officiating.  Interment followed under the direction of the Shaffer Memory 
chapel.
