Gilbert Corbit Rites Saturday

PAYETTE-Services for Gilbert A. Corbit, 63, of Caldwell, Route 5, will be held 
Saturday at 10 a.m. a the Shaffer Memory Chapel in Payette with the Rev. Harold 
Jacks officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside cemetery.
Mr. Corbit died after an accident at Orofino last Sunday. He was born at Swan 
Valley January 5, 1901. He was married to Inis Tetters at New Meadows on March 
4, 1926. They moved from Swan Valley to Payette in 1936 and remained in Payette 
until 1943. He has operated the Oasis Cafe and Hotel at Caldwell for the past 
five years.
