Flora A. Couper

PAYETTE-Graveside services for Flora Alice Couper, 79, Lincoln City, Ore., 
formerly of Payette, who died Sunday in Lincoln City, will be conducted at 11 
a.m. Thursday at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weiser, by Lorraine Chapter, No. 20, under 
the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Payette.

She was born Feb. 24, 1902, in Olex, Ore.  She was educated in Oregon City, 
Ore.  She married F. Merrill Couper on Feb. 10, 1924, in Payette.  They lived 
in the Payette area for 45 years.  Her husband died in May 1969, and she moved 
to Lincoln City in 1980.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, 
The Royal Neighbors of America, the Payette Floral Club and Lorraine Chapter 
No. 20, Order of the Eastern Star.  

Survivors include a son, C. M. of Boise; a daughter, Diza Anderson of Gleneden 
Beach, Ore.; two sisters, Ethel Sprinkle of Spokane and Hetie Langford of 
Milwaukie, Ore.; five grandchildren; and give great-grandchildren.
