All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/id/idfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Cheryl Hanson ihansonb@fmtc.com December 5, 2005, 10:22 pm Payette Enterprise 7-7-1910 Payette Enterprise Payette, Idaho Thursday, July 7, 1910 Death of Mrs. Cram Many people of Payette were shocked and pained on Tuesday morning of this week to learn of the death at Hot Lake on that morning of Mrs. Frank Cram, Sr. Mrs. Cram had been in poor health for sometime and a patient sufferer from a combination of diseases and while her death was not in the strictest since of the word unexpected, yet the news of her demise came with a distinct shock to her many friends. The remains were brought to Payette Tuesday evening and on Wednesday at the Presbyterian church the Rev. Turner officiating the funeral services were held a large concourse of friends paying their last tribute to the one they had known and loved in life. The remains were interred in Riverside cemetery. Mary Wanamaker was born in Minnesota July 18, 1859, near Albert ?. Her parents were of that sturdy pioneer stock that have made this western country what it is and her father was killed in the Indian wars while she was but a mere child. In October 1776 she was united in marriage to Frank H. Cram who survives her. Soon after their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Cram moved to Montana where they resided for ten years. They moved to Washington in 1890 and in 1895 came to Payette where they have since made their home. She leaves besides a loving and devoted husband to mourn her loss one daughter, two sons, Roy and Frank Jr. both of this city, a mother, one sister and four brothers. Mrs. Cram was a member of the Presbyterian church and a devoted Christian woman and among her friends she will be sorely missed.
