CRAM, SR. Frank H. Cram, Sr., died suddenly on Monday, June 4th, at his home which was with his son, Frank H. Jr., on Payette Heights. The funeral services were at the home on Wednesday when a large company of people assembled to express the friendship they had for a peculiarly friendly man. Rev. M. D. Reed and other members of the Presbyterian church had charge of the funeral services, thus fitly expressing what was his chief relationship in life during the last several years. Mr. Cram has had part in making up the good citizenship of five different states. Wisconsin was his birth place. He was married in Minnesota, moved to Montana, then Washington, and in 1895 to the Payette Valley. His wife and life companion for thirty-five years, died here seven years ago. The two sons, Frank H. Jr., and Ray, and the daughter, Mrs. Walter B. Pence, all live among us and are held in esteem that does honor to a worthy father. It is by such as him that communities are made so fine for dwelling places and we will honor him who is gone by adding on our post the same sort of integrity and friendliness that characterized him.
