Crandall had lived in Payette since 1919, and had made his home here with a daughter, Mrs. J. M. Conn, during a long period of ill health. He was born in Van Buren county, Iowa, February 9, 1850, and came here from Fort Collins, Colorado. Besides Mrs Conn, Crandall is survived by three sons: W. F., Portland, Oregon; E. E., Nyssa, Oregon; and Reuel, Casper, Wyoming. Four grandchildren also survive. The Rev. C. M. Strong of the Payette Baptist church officiated at the services Monday at 2:30 p.m. (Independent Enterprise, Thursday, February 2, 1939) CARD OF THANKS We wish to thank our neighbors and friends for their kindness during the illness and death of our father.
