Obituary
 
Wendell Crump was born Jan. 2, 1919, at Boonesborough, Missouri, and came to 
Fruitland in April of the same year. He passed away at his home last 
Wednesday, December 8, at 11:55 A. M. following an attack of influenza from 
which he suffered 3 weeks before, rheumatism, leakage of the heart, and dropsy 
developing from this. He was not considered seriously ill however, and was out 
of school only one week. He leaves to mourn his loss, his father and mother, 
one brother, Lowell, and 3 sisters, Leola, Helen, and Dorothy Jean. Funeral 
services were held from the Church of Christ last Tuesday afternoon at 2 
o'clock, and interment made in Riverside cemetery.

The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved parents.
