JOHN DAILY PASSES

John Daily, who leased the Texaco Filling Station after Lew Blayden left a 
couple of weeks ago, passed away at the Gilmore Hotel Monday from leakage of 
the heart and stomach trouble. He had been in poor health for a long time, but 
seemed better when he came here. However, the work was too much for him and he 
soon had to take to his bed.

Little was known of Mr. Daily here as he had barely gotten started in business 
when taken for the worse. A sister came from Orchard the day before his death 
and his remains were taken to Meridian for burial.
