D. Darnell, died in Payette last Saturday of typhoid fever, aged 18 years. 
Denny was an exemplary young man and well known and well liked in New 
Plymouth. He was an enthusiast of clean sport, and was first baseman of the 
Payette baseball club and a member of the basket ball team. It is with deep 
regret that we chronicle Denny's demise.
