Final Rites Held For Charles Davis, 81, Of Payette
 
Charles Davis died March 4 in an Ontario hospital just six days before his 
82nd birthday.  Services were held under the direction of Rev. Stanley Andrews 
in the Shaffer Memory chapel with interment following at Hillcrest cemetery, 
Weiser.
 
Mr. Davis was born March 10, 1871 in Criderville, Ohio.  He was married to  
Della May Barber March 20, 1892 in Washington, Indiana.  Mrs. Davis passed 
away in 1936.
 
The couple lived in Indian Valley until 1922 when they moved to Payette.
 
Mr. Davis is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Wisbey, Yakima, Wash., Mrs. 
Flora Farra, Payette, two sons Walter and David Davis, Portland; one sister, 
two half-sisters, four grandsons and six great-grandchildren.
