Dennett Services for Opal L. Dennett, 78, New Plymouth who died Sunday, June 19, 1983, at home, were conducted today in Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, New Plymouth, with Pastor Russell Steiner of the New Plymouth First Baptist Church officiating. Interment followed in Parkview Cemetery. She was born Jan. 20, 1905, in Mutual, Okla., the daughter of Sherman and Lena Sweet. She was reared and educated in Oklahoma. She married Roy J. Dennett, Sept. 4, 1929 in Woodward, Okla. They moved to New Plymouth in 1935. He died in 1974. She is survived by two sons, Billy Dennett of New Plymouth; Gregory Dennett of Baker, Ore.; three daughters, Mrs. David (Betty) Pittman of Vancouver, Wash.; Mrs. Kraig (Beverly) Schlottman of Grangeville, Idaho; Mrs. Denny (Bonnie) Gill of Baker, Ore.; one brother, Mark Sweet of Nampa; three sisters, Mable Anderson of New Plymouth; Abbe Laundermilk of Boise; Marie Franklin of Soap Lake, Wash.; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, three brothers and one grandchild. The family suggest memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
