Charles Ben Dennis, 69, of Scotts Bluff, Nebraska, father of Mrs. J. A. 
Ashbaugh passed away February 21st at the home of his daughter in New Plymouth 
with whom he has been visiting for a few weeks.  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. 
Charlotte Dennis of Scotts Bluff, three daughters, Miss Anna Dennis of Scotts 
Bluff, Mrs. J. A. Ashbaugh and Mrs. Harold Davis of New Plymouth, two sons, 
Orvil of Portland and Wilbur of Padroni, Colorado and sisters, Mrs. Charles 
Madison of Richmond, California, Mrs. Carl Madison of St. Cloud, Florida, Mrs. 
McGuire of St. Cloud, Florida, Mrs. Charles Herner of New Plymouth and Mrs. 
Ira Dennis of Arthur, Nebraska.  Funeral services were held at the Landon 
funeral home Wednesday, February 25, with Rev. C. V. Carlson of New Plymouth 
Congregational church in charge.  Burial was in the Park View cemetery.
 
Note:  According to the Idaho Death Index he was born 5-12-1872 and died 2-23-
1942. ch
