Mrs. Denny, mother of Mrs. G. A. Keys living near Falk’s Store, died at her daughter’s home Wednesday evening of last week of heart failure. The deceased was about 75 years of age, and had been in poor health a number of years but at the time of her death she was apparently as well as usual. She was sitting in a chair when suddenly she fainted. She was assisted to her bed but never revived and in a short time had passed away. The funeral was held from the Christian church in this city Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. Bobbitt having conducted the services and preached an appropriate sermon. The remains were interred in Riverside cemetery. The deceased leaves a husband, a son and two daughters. At the time of her demise Mr. Denny was visiting Montana with his son and now he will remain with him. Mrs. Fox, the other daughter, arrived in Payette from her home in Baker City Thursday and was present at the funeral services. Mrs. Fox with her husband will move from Baker City to Falk’s Store and will live with Mr. and Mrs. Keys. Card of Thanks. We take this means of expressing our heartfelt thanks to our neighbors and friends who so kindly assisted and sympathized with us in our late affliction. MRS. AND MRS. KEYS. MRS. HENRY FOX.
